National Grid – Visual Impact Provision

The second annual report for National Grid’s Visual Impact Provision project has been published  and is now available to download.

Visual Impact Provision remains a unique infrastructure project – both in terms of its ambition to reduce the visual impact of existing high voltage electricity overhead transmission lines and because key decisions are being made by stakeholders who know and care about our landscape.  There is one project local to us and consultations are underway with regard to removal of a stretch of overhead power-lines at Hale Purlieu.

You can also find more detailed information on the project HERE.  If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to email the project team.
