The annual reserve open day will be held this year on Sunday, 18 September 2016.
The event takes place in a field off Normandy Lane, Lymington (SZ 330 940). This site lies adjacent to Normandy Lagoon and offers lots of opportunities for guided walks and observing wildlife.
As in previous years, RSPB New Forest Local Group will have a stand at the open day to provide information to local people about our programme and generally help make the event a success. A marquee, table and chairs will be provided by the organisers so there is only minimal setting up required. However, help with running the stand and possibly assisting with guided walks, observing the lagoons, etc. is needed. We may even run a competition.
The event runs from 11.00 am until 4.00 pm and the site will be open for setting up stands/displays from 10.00 am. Vehicles can then be parked at the other end of the field away from the event site.
If you are a RSPB New Forest Local Group member and are able to help, please respond via the Contact Us form.
